This is a special project (class and two workshops) for students who are interested in design, ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and would like to learn how to solve various security problems in Mexico. This class is organized according to PULI Program (Post Urban Living Innovation Education and Research Program).

The main interest of this class is to prepare students for the workshop in Mexico, Monterrey City and for the workshop in Japan, Chiba. The final purpose is is to develop design proposals dedicated to solve various security problems in Mexico by using design and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and present all results during the Final Presentation in March 2019.

The main interest of PULI001 Project is to clarify the challenges faced by the world’s urban areas, and develop human resources who will contribute to the living innovation industry and security in Japan and Mexico.

Class will start in early August 2018. During the first meeting, new members will learn about the previous results of PULI001 and later they will continue to develop concept, packaging and prototypes.
We expect that students from this class will participate in the workshop in Mexico, Monterrey City (approximately: 28th October – 6th November 2018) and in the workshop at Chiba University (11-15 March 2019).

During November 2018 until February 2019, all members will develop their final product and services related to the security problems in Mexico and prepare for the Final Presentation.

Final results, products and services will be presented during the Final Presentation in March 2019.

Workshop* in Mexico: 2 weeks during October – November 2018 will be registered as グローバル・テクノロジー・デベロップメントⅠ /Global Technology Development I/単位数/Credits: 2

Workshop* in Japan: 1-15 March 2019 will be registered as グローバル・ビジネス・プランニング /Global Business Planning/単位数/Credits: 2
